God, as we continue, I pray that you give us everything we need to interact with one another, to minister to each other, Father. I pray that as we finish up 201, that we don't feel Misguided Father that we hold on to the things that we have learned and that you have revealed to us over these past few weeks. Oh God, battle belongs to you. I'll sing through the night. Oh God, battle belongs to you. And if you are for me, can be against me. Oh Jesus. No. The timing is weird. Yeah, um I'm lost. When all I season bottle. Maybe instead, what if we start off more chill, like What if it's like all I see is the battle, you see my victory. When all I see is a mountain, you see a mountain moved. And as I walk through the shadow, your love surrounds me there's nothing to fear now, for I am safe with you. So when I fight out Fight on my knees with my hands lifted high. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. And every fear I lay at your feet. I'll sing through the night. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. And if you are for me. Who can be against me? Sure. For Jesus, there's nothing impossible for you. When all I see are the ashes, you see the beauty. They any old feet I'll sing through the night. Oh God, battle belongs to you. Oh God, the battle be long su God, battle belongs to you. Well. Well, we're doing it one more time. Yes because I I need to. So in our fight. Uh no, we can I'm pretty comfortable with that heaven, so we can hit this one from the top again. I'm trying to think. Uh if you wanna follow me. I think that we started out chill, but then we took by the time we got the second verse, you were back to the tempo we were doing fast. So just it's harder to keep us. So just watch you're good? I think yeah, I think so. Hey Kim. Yeah, that's true. She moves. What Yeah, I was trying to get that second verse. I was trying to drill it in my head. Okay, let's start off again like we did. Keep it chill. Try to stand tempo. Way hang on when all I see is the battle, you see my victory. When all I see is a mountain, you see a mountain moved, and as I walk through the shadow, your love surrounds me. There's nothing to fear now, for I am safe with you. So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees with my hands lifted high. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. Every fear I lay at your feet. I'll sing through the night. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. And if you are for me, who can be against me? For Jesus is nothing impossible for you. When all I see are the ashes, you see the beauty. When all the seas across God, you see the empty too. So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees with my hands lifted high. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. Every fear I lay at your feet. I'll sink through the night. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. An almighty fortress you go before us. Nothing can stand against the power of our God. You shine in the shadows, you win every battle. Nothing can stand against the power of our God. An almighty fortress, you go before us. Nothing can stand against the power of our God. Shine in the shadows you every battle nothing can stand against the power of our God When I fight I fight on my knees with my hands lifted high oh God the battle belongs to you every fear I Lay at your feet, I'll sing through the night. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. So when I fight, I'll fight on my knees with my hands lifted high. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. Every fear I lay at your feet, I'll sing through the night. Oh God, the battle belongs to you. And oh God, Battle bills to you know God battle bills to you. That was good. Mm-hmm. Something like that. Unless I want to try it, but That'd be uh I'm fine with scratching it. What? I'm fine with scratching. Okay, sounds good. Sounds good. It's just I think I've I've been trying to plan like more like two and a half songs. Yeah. And so I was trying to think of like 'cause fifteen minutes is a weird thing for two songs. So May we'll just see what happens in Touch of Heaven. Maybe we'll add something on the end. Two seven minute songs. Let's just yeah. Right. We'll just sing the Rage of Touch Touch of Heaven ten times. There you go. And all I see is about. So we can make it a smooth transition, which we'll have the pad too. Oh god, the battle belongs to me again on the board. Yeah. But let me transition. For Jesus there's nothing impossible for you. How I live for the moments where I'm still in your presence. All noise dies down Lord speak to me now you have all my attention are our willing goodness I can't miss a thing and Lord I know my heart wants more my heart wants something new so I So and all I want to sleep within your roof Being done by who you are, my desire is no deeper L I will open up again throw my face into the wind. I am desperate for entertainment. Oh You're the fire in the morning, you're the cool in the evening, the breath in my soul, you're the life in my bones. There is no hesitation in your love and affection It's the sweetest through all And oh I know my heart once more with you my heart wants something new so I So end all And all I want is to live within you And um by who you are My desire to know you deeper I open up again Throw my face into the wind I am just perfect Oh I open up my heart to I open up now to do what only you can do. And Jesus have away now. I open up my heart to you. I open up my heart to you now to do what only you can. And Jesus have your way now. I open up my heart. I open up my heart now. So do it only. I open up my voice now to what I can in Jesus are why sleep within your robe being done by you might desire deeper Lord I will open up again. Throw my feet into the wind and days before it says everything you have being done by who you are. My desires to know you deeper L I will be up again Throw my feet into the wind I'm despite for a touch of baby to know you deeper L I will open up again Throw my feet into the wind I'm despite for a touch of heaven Something like that. Something like that. Y'all good y'all good on everything? Yeah. I think we I think we got the hang of battle belongs. I think we got it. And if it's not good, what? Oh well. We're still we're still gonna worship the Lord no matter what. It's raining really hard. All I want is for it not to rain so hard. It's raining really hard. All our furniture's getting wet. Reconcile based on their decision. So when you bring that third party in, who are brothers and sisters in Christ. Okay, you're warning some people who are gonna point you back to God in this as well. Each witness and yourself should tell the story to the leaders. So this is kind of walking you through the path of if someone sins against you, you don't have to just, you know, it's not that we just let it go, but there is a process to reconciliation and there's steps to it. Okay. Uh many times our tendency is to go run and tell everybody about it, or tell all these people and try to get people on our side, or try to get people um to to you know empathize with us or feel sorry for us. And that's not what this is calling us to do. This is calling us that there's steps to this. First, it should be between you and the brother. Then you can bring in that third party accountability with other believers. Then you would take it the next step to church leadership. Uh and then you know after that it talks about before it being taken to the church body, the offending member member must know that each step that is being taken and be invited to be present in order for that repentance to take place. Uh and then uh it goes on from there. So the next thing is wisdom in relationships. So not all hurts are caused by sin. Sometimes we have unmet expectations. So that goes back to what I was talking about just a minute ago. Sometimes someone didn't actually sin against you. You had expectations of how you wanted them to act or what you wanted them to do. They didn't live up to your expectations. And because of that, now you have you have taken offense to what they did when in reality there was no sin. You just had expectations that weren't met. And it says one must be careful not to mistake their hurts for a brother sinning against them. Your liberty versus your brother. All Christians have an obligation to be concerned about their own action, causing other believers to fall back into sin. And that's found in 1 Corinthians 8 13. The next thing it talks about is words of conflict and words of healing. And this is one that I think all of us can really relate to. I know I know I can relate to this one. As leaders, we can c relate to this one. But King Solomon wrote: Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise Possibly quoting Proverbs 12:18 brings healing. A loose word that gives momentary laughter to others at the expense of another may create conflict that lasts for years. So, what that's saying is, you know, we're called to edify, to to encourage, to build one another up. And sometimes we make jokes about our friends, don't we? Has everybody made jokes about your friends? Okay. And what this is saying is that sometimes those cross boundaries. Sometimes we we want to get other people around us to laugh so bad that we do it at the expense of our friends. Folds up. We do that at the expense of our friends. And so what it's saying is a loose word that gives momentary laughter at the expense of another may cause conflict that lasts for years. Even if that person doesn't say anything in that moment, that doesn't mean that they're not holding a piece of that, that that something wasn't taken away in that relationship because of the words that you said, offer a moment of laughter in that situation. Gossip. All right, I know every one of us has probably been guilty of gossip at one point or another. If a report does not edify or compliment the person, then it should be considered gossip, even if it if it is true. So, what that's saying is if what I'm saying about Joshua, if it's not lifting him up, if it's not encouraging about him, if I'm talking to Declan about Joshua or Amsley about Joshua, and what I'm saying, it doesn't matter if it's true. It doesn't matter if he did something wrong. If I'm talking to you about that and it's negative about Joshua, even if it's 100% true. It's gossip. Okay? And so m watching our words when we're talking to other people about other people because we're called to build each other up, to lift up the members of the body. We're all one body that is a temple for the for for the Lord to dwell, and we're we're not to sit and talk bad about each other, but we can easily get caught up in that and justify that even as it being okay. Gossip has a strong temptation too, because it feels good, like a morsel that goes down into the inmost parts. Does anybody ever get a good feeling in fight inside when you gossip? It's okay to say yes. Sometimes it feels good. Sometimes when you talk about other shortcomings, it makes you feel about better about your own, doesn't it? You putting someone else down or talking about how someone else falls short helps there to be less focus on where you've fallen short. And so we kind of get that little gratification out of that. Judging words when a judgment is added to a fact, then it comes an accusation. One of the best ways to stop gossip is to cancel listeners. A great way to turn the course of judgmental words is to speak positively about the person who is being criticized. So sometimes you're going to be in situations where other people are talking bad about a person. How do you overcome that? Do you talk bad about them and leave? No. You can build that person up. You can speak positively when other people are speaking negatively about that person. You can speak life about that person. People need to hear words that bring healing to their souls. And so, you know, in those situations, the temptation is to just kind of follow along with what the crowd is. But what sets you apart, what really allows others to see that light of Christ working within you, is when you do the opposite of what everybody else is doing and you begin to speak positively and lift them up. Okay? All right, let's circle our chairs up in the back corner here, uh, and we will answer a few questions about everything we talked about tonight.
